Prompted Journal
Prompted Journaling – Poetry for Your Soul I write this account of a dream which has occurred two days ago which took place at the beginning of next week’s session. My journaling notes follow. Date: Sunday, 30 January 2015 Prompted Journaling: Poetry Dreaming, this is an unexpected encounter and I can only recall it being there on my left-hand side. I thought I was watching TV and the screen had gone blank for no reason and then I saw this apparition – and yet it was vivid enough that I thought I could well be awake. In my dreamscape I see a dark room – I’m not exactly sure how wide it was but it seemed long and in full darkness. I go close up to the apparition and study it like a painting. I cannot tell how I know it to be a woman. Suddenly, her face brightens and there she is with the brilliant red light of an all-powerful personality entering us and smiling. Then we start laughing with pleasure and our inner thoughts and energies flow into the apparition. I am moved as I feel intensely happy to have met someone with that creative energy, she seems to be real and very real. Someone with a lot of energy but of positive energy. Yet, then to my shock and amazement, she is as if disappearing. All I have left is the brightness and the energy of this amazing being who is taking my heart with her as she radiates into the darkness.

Then the apparition beams onto the walls of my dream space as though she is real and projecting her light into the darkness of us and the world. All that I have been through over the last few years is crystallized – in a totally new, vivid and urgent way – as I watch my personality self-destruct, one emotion following another. I feel like I know her personally. There is Prompted Journal: What has this taught you about yourself?
